Judit Lucz

Judit is an experienced CFO with 20+ years in finance, she is an economist by profession with postgrad legal and business studies in Hungary and Ireland (National University of Ireland, Galway). She practices as registered tax advisor and chartered accountant, has an overview of diverse fields like controlling, accounting, taxation, business administration and financing.
Within the team Judit is responsible for business planning, developing the finance and taxation strategy, cash management, financial due diligences, the investor relations and the coordination of the administrative and monitoring tasks. Having gained CFO experience in several organisations, Judit joined Day One in 2018. Previously she worked as CFO of a holding of large&medium-sized businesses in construction and public utilities.
From 2013 to 2015 she was the General Manager of Kaerous Capital Venture Capital Fund Manager, where she managed the daily operation of the company, coordinated investment decision making process, re-designed investment policy, operational processes and risk management. Until 2017 she led a healthcare start-up as a managing director. This health-care firm was one of the portfolio companies of Kaerous Capital VC.
Previously she was a CFO of a holding of large & medium-sized businesses in construction and public utilities where supervised and re-designed overall business processes and introduced an ERP. At early stage of her career she was relationship manager of ABN AMRO Bank for 4 years. Judit graduated from the University of Pécs, Faculty of Business & Economics as an Economist (MSc), and Faculty of Law as an Economist, specialised in Law (postgraduate studies).
